European Schools’ Cup program & Q&A’s

What is the European Schools’ Cup ?

In the heart of the Adriatic Sea, the anticipation of the upcoming European Schools’ Cup builds as students aged 14 to 18 from various European schools prepare to embark on a futuristic week-long sailing expedition in Croatia. The sleek sailing boats, each with four double cabins, stand ready to be the vessels of a thrilling adventure.

Navigating through the crystalline waters, the students will find themselves surrounded by the breathtaking landscapes of Croatian islands, their sails billowing in the salty breeze. As the sun dips below the horizon, the boats will drop anchor in secluded coves, creating an enchanting atmosphere for shared tales and laughter under the starlit sky.

Days will be dedicated to mastering the art of sailing under the careful guidance of experienced skippers and co-skippers. The students will learn the intricacies of maneuvering the boats, hoisting sails, and navigating the open sea. Beyond sailing skills, they will discover the essence of life onboard – from cooking delicious meals in the compact galley to efficiently managing chores and cozying up in snug cabins.

Amidst the vastness of the Adriatic, friendships will blossom as students face the challenges and joys of life at sea together. The European Schools’ Cup will become more than a competition; it will evolve into a transformative experience, shaping not only skilled sailors but fostering a deep appreciation for teamwork, responsibility, and the wonders of the open sea.
